The pink leather jumpsuit worn by Anya Taylor-Joy was inspired by Princess Peach


Anya Taylor-Joy is known for having fun with her red carpet looks, but her most recent ensemble for the premiere of “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” is possibly the most playful she has ever worn. The actor arrived in Los Angeles on April 1st wearing a pink leather Dior jumpsuit, taking fashion cues from Princess Peach. She provides the voice for the video game character in the movie, along with Chris Pratt’s Mario and Jack Black’s Bowser, so it was a fitting option.

Princess Peach has undergone a badass makeover in the newest film, as the animated heroine dons an action-ready pink driving jumpsuit. When you think of Princess Peach, you probably picture billowing bubblegum pink dresses. Taylor-Joy channeled her persona because she didn’t want her to have all the fun. Animated alter identity to show she’s serious about the fashion industry. Ryan Hastings, the stylist for “The Menu” star, furthered the look with bright pink knee-high moto boots, leather driving gloves, and a buckled waist belt. Moreover, some drop pearl and gold earrings added a touch of glitz.
