Adam Driver is reportedly in final negotiations to play Mr. Fantastic in the Marvel revival of the Fantastic Four


For the next Fantastic Four reboot, Reed Richards, Adam Driver is allegedly in final talks with Marvel Studios.

Daniel Richtman, a reputable scooper, reports that Driver’s name has been connected to the project for a number of months. The actor has been a fan favorite to portray the character, and some have speculated that he might also play the vengeful villain Doctor Doom.According to sources, Marvel has been considering Driver for the position for a while. In fact, as early as January, it was reported that he was their top option to play Reed Richards. Dev Patel and Diego Luna, among others, were reportedly being considered for the role by the studio.

Marvel’s Fantastic Four revival is slated to arrive in theaters on February 14th, 2025.

Beginning with the first half of 2024, Matt Shakman of WandaVision will begin shooting the upcoming movie. Josh Friedman, the author of Snowpiercer and Avatar: The Way of Water, will pen the script.

Although there haven’t been any casting announcements, there have been reports that Austin Butler may be chosen to portray Johnny Storm/Human Torch and that Rachel Brosnahan or Jodie Comer may be chosen to play Sue Storm/Invisible Woman.
