This week, Peloton rowers, cyclists, and runners who are also a part of the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem will get a new perk. The Peloton Watch App, which enables Peloton users to link the Wear OS-powered smartwatches directly to their workout equipment, has been made available for both the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 lineups, according to an announcement from Samsung and Peloton.
The app’s objective is rather straightforward. You may view your heart rate data pulled directly from the watch and up on your Peloton’s monitor by using it to link your wristwatch to a cycle, treadmill, or rower. It is simple to ignite. Open the Peloton Watch App after choosing a workout on a piece of Peloton equipment, and a prompt will appear appear to pair the two devices. Simply tap “connect” to see your heart rate displayed on the Peloton monitor. Easy money!
