As opposed to new songs from Nicki Minaj (“Red Ruby Da Sleeze”), Morgan Wallen (“One Thing at a Time”), Kali Uchis (“Red Moon in Venus”), Marshmello and Manuel Turizo (“El Merengue”), and others, “On the Street” received 80% of the vote.

Following J-numerous Hope’s solo achievements in 2022, such as his audacious Jack in the Box project and his renowned Lollapalooza set, the duo will release a hip-hop collaboration. The BTS member thanks the supporters that enabled everything to happen in the new song. With charisma and assurance, Cole moves with the beat as the K-pop sensation talks about his own individual rise to fame.

For J-Hope, “On the Street” holds a special significance. Although BTS has long expressed their admiration for the North Carolina-raised rapper, J-Hope has always stated that J. Cole is one of his all-time favorite singers. In 2013, they revealed their reinterpretation of Cole’s “Born Sinner” with “Born Singer,” which was only formally released last year on Proof.

J-debut Hope’s solo track since joining Korean R&B artist “Crush” on “Rush Hour” is “On the Street.” Midway through January, “Procrastination (Broke),” a surprise song by J. Cole, was released. It was written as a thank you to producer Bvtman and “every producer out there cooking up and sharing their work with the public.”

Trailing behind Hope and Cole’s track on the fan-voted poll was Minaj’s latest track “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” with nearly 12% of the vote. The new single follows her hit single “Super Freaky Girl,” which earned the Queen of Rap her first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in August 2022.
